Song of the day is a digital resource that is developed by Adulting Made Easy. This is one of the few rare resources that help in developing recreation and leisure exploration for our children. This is usually a paid resource that is now available for free.
Play a song on the YouTube and ask your kiddo to fill out this worksheet that has questions regarding the – Title of the song, artist, what was the song about ( sad, happy, travel, love, etc.) thus encouraging perspective taking skills in our children. They also have to answer of they have heard the song before and if they like it?
Listening to music and watching music videos is a favourite hobby of many children on the spectrum and this activity is something they would love to do. If your kiddo is not into music, introduce them to this soothing and relaxing hobby during these stay at home days. This is one hobby that is beneficial to both parents and children.
